Senator Biden's Helicopter Forced down in Afghanistan....And he may drop off of Vice Presidential ticket

Today Senator Joseph Biden talked to the National Guard Association and asked "where are we now" in regards to Afghanistan. During his talk, in an attempt to connect with the troops and tell them that McCain wants to go to the gates of hell to fight terror, but he is "more practical" Biden stated:
"If you want to know where Al Qaeda lives, you want to know where Bin Laden is, come back to Afghanistan with me," Biden said. "Come back to the area where my helicopter was forced down, with a three-star general and three senators at 10,500 feet in the middle of those mountains. I can tell you where they are." ABC News
Now that tugs at heart strings, that evokes feelings of "man this guy is a brave fella" "and Kudos to him for risking his life to visit the troops". For a moment my heart softened for Biden, but only for a nanosecond.

And this is not the first time that Biden has spoken about this, he also made one of the same comments at a fundraiser:
Biden said he would ask Palin about "The superhighway of terror between Pakistan and Afghanistan where my helicopter was forced down...John McCain wants to know where Bin Laden and the gates of Hell are? I can tell him where. That's where Al Qaeda is. That's where Bin Laden is. It's not in the country of Iraq."
ABC News
(on a side note is Biden suggesting war with Pakistan?)

So we have Biden stating at least twice about his helicopter being forced down in the mountains of Afghanistan, and on that helicopter with him in February of 2008 were Senators Hagel and Kerry as well as a few Generals.

And what terrorist organization forced his helicopter down? What type of fire forced them to land? Well that is simple for anyone who has ever watched cartoons at Christmas time, especially Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. The picture of the ring leader of the terrorist group is pictured below:

Yes folks, Biden's helicopter was forced down because of a snowstorm!!!! Looks like the abominable snowman is back to his old ways, attacking that helicopter with snowflakes.

No one was injured, nor were they ever in any danger at all. They were escorted back to a military base in a convoy and left for Turkey.

Senator Kerry even joked that there were going to send Biden to fight terrorists with snowballs but that it was not necessary.

Biden, here is a tip, when you are trying to make a point about terrorism make sure the point you use actually has something to do with terrorism. Or at least put the abominable snowman on the enemy combatant list so he will be a real terrorist.

In other news, is Biden going to drop off of the Vice Presidential ticket? Head on over to Old NFO's blog to read about it.

Silly liberals--tricks are for kids,
Anthony

  1. Oh, Joe! Those nasty snow storms and whirling helicopter blades create a issue for hair plugs don't they? Yeah, watch out. Hillary is coming in for a landing under sniper fire and Joe is forced down by a militant snow storm. What is with Dems who feel the need to show off their "close encounters of a militaristic kind"?

    Nobama....Keep the Change.
