Idaho man sent to Federal Prison for Saving Town from Flooding

I read an article today about a man that has been taking care of an "intermittent" river bed since the 1980's because he created a development and was contractually obligated by the local government to take care of this dried up river bed that is only wet at most for 2 months a year. At any rate, the Federal Government indicted him and yesterday he was taken to Federal prison to serve 18 months for doing nothing except following the law. The article is a bit lengthy but I implore you to read it and then to take action by contacting your local Senators and Congressman and ask them to help this innocent man. The idea is to create enough public attention and outrage that people can no longer ignore this. Here is a link to the article "Outrage in Idaho: Feds send man to prison for protecting town from flooding"

Please take the time to read the article, it took me about 5-10 minutes to read and I physically feel ill after this. I trust that you will feel the same.

After you read that article skim the updated version of the article to read about some new evidence here "Idaho man goes to prison today at 2pm"

Both articles were written by a man named Bryan Fischer, kudos to him for such great articles.
